About us

Let’s Talk Essex is a partnership between Mind in West Essex and The Ideas Hub Chelmsford.

We record a twice monthly podcast focusing on specific areas of mental health & well being. The format uses our host Mike Ellen who is the Uttlesford team manager for the Children’s & Young Peoples Mental Health Support Team and one of Mind in West Essex’s MHFA (Mental Health First Aid Trainers) for Adult & Youth.

On each podcast we are joined by 2 or more guests to explore that weeks given topic. It is our aim to use these podcast to educate and empower while also helping to challenge stigmas that may exist around mental health topics in general.
